Christina Holloway
Christina Holloway: Christina is the owner, director, preschool teacher, bus driver and accountant for WCK. Christina has worked in the early childhood field since 1997 and has a degree in human development and family studies. Christina’s passion is caring for all children and their families.
Melisa Sweet
Melisa Sweet: Mel has been with WCK since its inception in August 2016. She works in the preschool room three days per week. Mel is passionate about offering a purposeful and unique educational experience to each child.
Brenna Bride
Brenna Bride: Brenna started working for our organization in the fall of 2022. She has landed in the preschool classroom of WCK. She has been a full time preschool teacher for almost nine years after finding her passion in early childhood education while attending Colorado State University. She loves establishing trusting relationships with children and their families. One of her strongest passions is sharing outdoor experiences with children.
Becky Fontanez
Becky Fontanez: Becky works in the preschool. Becky has worked at WCK since January 2018. She always connects with the children in a playful and joyful way. Becky always goes the extra mile to understand each child individually.
Shana Miller
Shana Miller: Shana Miller was born and raised here in the Roaring Fork Valley. She has been working in education for 15 years with kids of all ages, though teaching preschool is her real passion! Outside of work her hobbies include reading, painting, cooking and baking, and live music. She also loves outdoor activities such as hiking, playing golf, rafting, and camping. Shana is dedicated to continuing her education in the ECE field and is so happy to be working with your kiddos as a part of the WCK team!
Wendy-Anne
Wendy-Anne was born and raised in Colorado, with some years spent living, studying, and teaching in France. She received her BA in French, History, English, and K-12 Education, as well as a joint MA in TESL/TEFL and French Languages, Literatures, and Cultures from Colorado State University. Her greatest passions outside of work include travel, cats, cooking, and quality time with family and friends. Wendy-Anne has over 12 years of experience teaching all ages from elementary to university level, and she is so happy to now add preschool onto that list! She is very grateful to be a part of the Woody Creek Kids / Little Red Schoolhouse family and adores spending time learning from and interacting with your children.
Crystal Jensen
Crystal Jensen: Crystal Jensen was born and raised in Hampton, VA. The hotel and service industry led her to spending a few years in Saint Augustine, Florida and ultimately brought her to Aspen in 2019. This is her first year at Woody Creek Kids and she is honored for the opportunity to teach and care for the children in the Toddler room.
